The course will cover the basics of secondary market lending and the factors used in determining borrower eligibility including credit, income, down payment and appraisals, and how those factors are interdependent. The most commonly used government and conventional loan programs will be discussed.   By the end of the class, you will have an understanding of the various loan programs available in the marketplace today, how various factors affect the borrower's ability to obtain a loan, and how barriers to home ownership can be overcome.
